How to draw a kid in a spacesuit step by step

How to Draw a Kid in a Spacesuit · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Guide shapes

Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.

  2. Step 2: The helmet

Draw a big circle near the top of the page for the space helmet. Make it nice and round, like a giant bubble.

  3. Step 3: The face window

Inside the helmet, draw a smaller circle that leaves a thick ring of space all the way around. This is the window where the face shows.

  4. Step 4: Eyes and smile

Near the middle of the window, add two little dots for eyes. Under them, draw a small curve like a smile.

  5. Step 5: Body, hands and pole

Under the helmet, draw a wavy collar line and a rounded suit body with a flat bottom. Add a small circle for a hand on each side, with a tall straight pole going down from the right hand. Then add two short leg lines under the body, three tiny dots on the chest, and a few short lines on the ground at the left.

  6. Step 6: The chest panel

On the middle of the suit, draw a small rounded square around the three dots. This is the control panel.

  7. Step 7: Arms

Draw a curved line from the left shoulder down to the left hand. Do the same on the right, curving from the shoulder out to the hand on the pole.

  8. Step 8: Boots

At the bottom of each short leg, draw a wide oval for a boot. Let the two ovals nearly touch.

  9. Step 9: The flag

At the top of the pole, draw a small wavy rectangle for the flag. Add one dot in the middle of it.

  10. Step 10: Little planet

On the left, near the hand, draw a small circle for a planet. Then add a long, tilted oval ring that goes around it.

  11. Step 11: Twinkling stars

Draw two small five-sided star shapes in the empty space on the left, one above the other.

  12. All done!

Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a kid in a spacesuit

  • Draw the helmet circle first and leave plenty of room inside it. The face circle needs a thick ring of space around it to look like a helmet.
  • The body step has the most parts, so go slowly. Start with the collar, then the body, then the hands and the pole.
  • Make the two boots the same width, and let them almost touch. Draw them right under the short leg lines so they sit evenly under the body.
