How to Draw a Christmas Dinosaur (Easy Step by Step)

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The big head
Draw a big rounded shape for the head, wider at the bottom, like a soft bean. Make the top fairly flat with a small bump on the left, and leave a little gap at the top right.
Step 3: The round body
Under the head, draw a curved line that starts at the right side of the chin and bends down along the back. Then add a short curve on the left and a small curve at the bottom right to start the tummy, leaving gaps between them.
Step 4: The Santa hat
Draw a long, thin rounded rectangle across the top of the head for the fuzzy brim. Add a big curved dome above it, and a small loop on the right side for the pom-pom.
Step 5: Eyes and nostrils
Add two round dots for eyes in the middle of the face. Put two tiny dots near the front of the face for nostrils.
Step 6: The smile
Draw a long, gentle curved line across the lower part of the face for the smile.
Step 7: Teeth and tiny arm
Draw little rounded teeth hanging below the smile line, like tiny bumps in a row. Then draw a short line down from under the chin and finish it with a small oval hand and a tiny finger line.
Step 8: The foot
At the bottom of the body, draw a flat oval for the foot. It sits right under the tummy, between the two curved body lines.
Step 9: The tail
On the right side of the body, draw a small loop where the tail begins. Then draw a curved line that arches out to a point, and a flat line back along the bottom to close the tail.
Step 10: Spiky back
Along the back, just below the head, draw a zigzag of three small triangles. Each one starts on the back line and points outward.
Step 11: Holiday lights
Draw a wavy line across the tummy like a string of lights. Hang three oval bulbs below it, one next to the other.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.
