Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Head and top oval
Draw a big rounded shape for the head, wider at the bottom, like a soft pot. Then draw a flat oval on top, like a little lid.
Step 3: The top horn
On top of the oval, draw a small pointy horn with one curved side. Let its bottom touch the oval.
Step 4: Back and tummy curve
Start at the right side of the head and draw one long curved line down and around to the left. This makes the back and round tummy of the dinosaur.
Step 5: The pointy tail
At the right, draw a curved line out to a point, then come back with a straight line along the bottom. It looks like a little leaf and makes the tail.
Step 6: Back spikes
Draw three small zigzag triangles in a row down the back, between the head and the tail. Each one is a little smaller than the one before.
Step 7: Teeth, arm and foot
Draw a few tiny v shapes in a row under the head for teeth. Then draw a short line down from the head to a small round hand, and a flat oval at the bottom for the foot with a short line up to the body.
Step 8: Eyes and nostrils
Draw two round dots for eyes, side by side on the face. Add two tiny dots near the front of the snout for nostrils.
Step 9: The smile
Draw a long smiling line across the face, just above the little teeth.
Step 10: The round pumpkin
Next to the hand, draw a round pumpkin shape. Add two curved lines inside it, like the sides of a ball, for the ridges.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.
