Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Head and ears
Draw the top of the head as one wavy line with two pointy ears and a gentle dip between them. Let the line curve down on each side and stop at the cheeks, leaving the bottom open.
Step 3: The body
Draw two long curves for the sides of the body, starting just below the head. The left side goes mostly straight down, and the right side swoops out in a big round curve. Leave the bottom open.
Step 4: The eyes
Draw two solid round dots in the middle of the face, side by side and at the same height.
Step 5: Nose and mouth
Between the eyes and a little lower, draw a tiny squiggly line, like a small w, for the nose and mouth.
Step 6: Whiskers
On each cheek, draw a few short lines that fan outward like little rays. Make both sides match. Add a short line below each cheek to connect the head to the body.
Step 7: The tail
On the left, draw a curved line that starts at the side of the body, loops out, and curves back in along the bottom.
Step 8: The legs
In the middle of the body, draw two short lines close together for the front legs. Then draw one more slanted line to the right of them for the other leg.
Step 9: Bottom curve
Draw a small curved line along the bottom, linking the legs together like the bottoms of the paws.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.
