How to draw a snowboarder step by step

How to Draw a Snowboarder · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Sides of the head

Draw two curved lines that bend like the sides of a round face, one on the left and one on the right. Leave the top and the bottom open, with a tiny bump near the top of each side.

  2. Step 2: Hat and pompom

Draw a wide dome across the top of the head, from one side line to the other, like half a ball. Add a small circle on top of the dome for the pompom.

  3. Step 3: The hat band

Near the bottom of the dome, draw two long, slightly curved lines side by side with a thick band between them. Scribble a little extra line at each end so the band looks puffy.

  4. Step 4: Goggles

Just under the hat band, draw a rounded U shape that hangs down from the band. It makes a soft rectangle for the goggles.

  5. Step 5: Face and jacket

Draw two small dots for eyes and a curved smile below the goggles. Then draw a curved collar and shoulders under the chin, a short zipper line in the middle, and two straight lines going down for the sides of the jacket.

  6. Step 6: Arms and mittens

Draw a bent tube sticking out from each shoulder, like a sideways sausage. End each arm with a small circle for a mitten.

  7. Step 7: Belt and legs

Draw a straight line across the bottom of the jacket for a belt. Below it, draw a second line with a small curved gap in the middle to show where the two legs begin.

  8. Step 8: Snowboard and snow

Under the legs, draw a long rounded rectangle for the snowboard. Finish with three little dots of flying snow on the right.

  9. All done!

Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a snowboarder

  • Draw the two sides of the head first, then draw the hat dome across the top so the band lines curve the same way as the head.
  • The goggles hang down from the hat band. Keep the corners of the rounded U soft, then place the eyes below it.
  • Draw the board last and make it wider than the legs, so the snowboarder looks like it is standing on it.
