Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Outer hand shape
Start near the top left and draw a long curve that goes down to a point at the bottom, then curves up to the top right. Leave a gap between the two top ends, and curl each end inward a little.
Step 3: Inner heart bottom
Inside the big shape, draw a smaller curved V that follows the same path. Start at the top left, come down to a point at the bottom, and curve back up on the right. Leave a little space from the outer line.
Step 4: The fingers
At the top, draw four rounded finger shapes in a row that fill the gap between the two sides. Each finger has a bumpy tip and straight sides that go down toward the inner heart.
Step 5: The little heart
Draw a small heart in the middle of the big heart. Give it two round bumps on top and a point at the bottom.
Step 6: The sleeves
On each side, draw a tilted rectangle for a sleeve. Tuck the top of each one against the outside of the hand and let the bottom point away from the middle.
Step 7: Sleeve fold lines
Draw one long slanted line inside each sleeve, running beside the edge of the hand. It makes the sleeve look like it folds.
Step 8: Wrist lines
At the bottom, draw a short straight line going down from the point of the hands. Add one short slanted line on each side of it to show where the wrists meet.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing heart hands
- Draw the outer hand shape lightly first, so the inner heart has room to sit inside it with an even gap.
- The fingers are the trickiest part. Draw the four rounded tips in a row, then add the straight sides down toward the inner heart.
- Make both sleeves the same size by starting each one at the same height beside the hands.
