Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The nugget box
Start at the top left and draw a slanted line down. Draw a flat line along the bottom with softly rounded corners, then slant a line back up on the right so the box is a little narrower at the bottom.
Step 3: The top rim
Draw a long straight line across the top of the box, joining the tops of the two sides and sticking out a tiny bit past both. This is the lip that the nuggets peek over.
Step 4: The tall nugget
Start on the rim a little left of the middle. Draw a bumpy, cloud-like line that goes up, wiggles over the top in a few bumps, and ends on the right.
Step 5: The left nugget
At the far left of the rim, draw a smaller bumpy blob. Start on the rim, curve up like a rounded hill, and tuck the end against the tall nugget.
Step 6: The two right nuggets
Draw a short bumpy nugget on the rim to the right of the tall one. Then draw one more bumpy nugget at the far right. Let each one start and end on the rim.
Step 7: The happy face
On the middle of the box, draw two round dots for eyes, spaced apart. Then add a small curved smile between and below them, like a little bowl.
Step 8: The sauce cup
Next to the box, draw a small cup that is wider at the top. Draw a gently curved line for the top edge, then two slanted sides that meet in a rounded bottom.
Step 9: Cup rim and sauce
Draw a curved line across the front of the cup just under the top edge. Then add a small rounded oval inside the top for the dipping sauce.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing chicken nuggets
- Draw the box first and keep it a bit narrower at the bottom. The nuggets then have a nice place to sit.
- The nuggets are the trickiest part. Think of them as little clouds with a few bumps, and make each one a different size.
- Draw the rim line before the nuggets, then let the nuggets start and stop right on it so they look like they are inside the box.

Questions about drawing chicken nuggets
What shapes do I need to draw chicken nuggets?
You need a box that is a little narrower at the bottom, a straight line for the rim, and lumpy cloud shapes for the nuggets. The face uses two dots and a small curve, and the cup has slanted sides with a small oval inside.
How do I make my nugget box look cuter?
Put the eyes wide apart and the smile low and small in the middle of the box. Rounded corners on the box and bumpy, soft nuggets also make it look friendlier.
How do I draw nuggets that look different from each other?
Change the height and width of each blob, and give each one a different number of bumps. Letting the nuggets touch each other a little makes the box look full.
