How to Draw a Reindeer Face (Easy Step by Step)
A reindeer face is a friendly drawing made almost entirely of circles and curves. You start with one big rounded head, then add leaf-shaped ears, tall antlers, and a round nose. The string of lights across the antlers makes it feel like the holidays.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The head
Draw a big round shape, a little like a soft square with rounded corners. Make it large, because everything else goes on or around it.
Step 3: The ears
On each side of the head, near the top, draw a pointy leaf shape that sticks out sideways. Leave a small gap where each ear meets the head.
Step 4: Inside the ears
Inside each ear, draw one curved line that follows the shape of the ear, like a smaller leaf tucked inside.
Step 5: Antler stems
Start at the top of the head and draw two long lines that lean outward as they go up, like the sides of a tall letter V. Let them end in the air.
Step 6: Branches and lights
Draw two short curved branches reaching out from each antler, one higher and one lower. Then draw a smiling curve between the two stems like a hanging string, and add three little round bulbs dangling below it.
Step 7: The eyes
Draw two small filled dots in the middle of the face, side by side. Keep them far enough apart to leave room for the nose.
Step 8: The nose
Draw a medium circle below and between the eyes. This is the big round reindeer nose.
Step 9: The smile
Under the nose, draw a short curved line that bends up at both ends, like a little smile.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a reindeer face
- The head is the biggest shape, so draw it large and take your time. If it comes out a little wobbly, that is fine, because a reindeer face can be a bit squishy.
- Draw the two antler stems so they lean the same amount on each side. Start both at the top of the head, a little apart from each other.
- The three bulbs hang from the string like beads, so make small circles and space them evenly, with the middle one a little lower.

How to color your reindeer face drawing
Try brown for the head and ears, with a soft pink inside each ear and a bright red nose. For a creative twist, color each bulb a different color so the lights twinkle.
Reindeer face fun fact for kids
Both male and female reindeer grow antlers, and they shed them and grow a new pair every year. Reindeer are the only members of the deer family where this is true.
