  1. Step 1: Guide shapes

    Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.

  2. Step 2: Ear, head top and chin

    Draw a small curved ear shape on the left. Then draw a short curved line to the right of it for the top of the head, and a curved smile-shaped line below for the chin.

  3. Step 3: The striped horn

    Between the ear and the top of the head, draw a small pointy cone for the horn. Add a few curved stripes across it.

  4. Step 4: Sunglasses and face

    Draw two big rounded lenses joined by a short bridge, and color them in solid dark. Add a thin arm going back from the right lens, a tiny slanted line above it, two little freckle dots and a small dash for the mouth.

  5. Step 5: The mane

    Start at the top of the head on the right and draw a wavy line down the back of the head. Let it swoop down to the neck and curl in at the bottom.

  6. Step 6: Body and legs

    Draw a line down from the chin for the chest, then add two short, chubby front legs with curved hooves at the bottom. Draw the back leg and a straight line up the back of the body on the right.

  7. Step 7: The curly tail

    On the right side of the body, draw a big curved tail that goes up, then swoops down and ends in a little curl at the bottom.

  8. Step 8: Music note and tail curls

    On the hip, draw a tiny music note: a small circle with a short stick and a little flag. Add two short curved lines near the top of the tail.

    Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.
