How to Draw a Flower Garden (Easy Step by Step)
A flower garden is a cheerful drawing because every flower gets its own smiling face. It is built from simple shapes: puffy five-bump flowers, long straight stems, pointy leaves, and a wide bowl-shaped pot. Once you can draw one flower, you can draw the whole group.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: Tall center flower
Near the top middle of your paper, draw a puffy flower shape with five rounded bumps, like five scoops joined in a ring. Leave the middle of the flower empty.
Step 3: Two small flowers
Draw two more five-bump flowers, one on the left and one on the right. Make them a little smaller than the first flower and set them lower down.
Step 4: Three stems
Under each flower, draw two straight lines side by side to make a skinny stem. Make the middle stem the longest and the two side stems shorter.
Step 5: The flower pot
Draw a wide flat line across the bottom where the stems stop. Then draw a long bowl shape hanging below that line, and add a small curl at each end of the top edge.
Step 6: Middle leaves
Draw one pointy leaf on each side of the tall middle stem. Each leaf starts down low near the pot and sweeps up and outward to a point.
Step 7: Side leaves
Give each small flower two pointy leaves, one on each side of its stem. Start each leaf low near the pot and curve it up and out to a tip.
Step 8: Happy faces
Give each flower two small round dots for eyes in the middle of the flower. Then add a tiny curved smile below the eyes.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a flower garden
- Draw the tall center flower first and the two small ones lower down. That way the three flowers fit on the page without bumping into each other.
- Draw each stem as two lines that stay the same distance apart. Go slowly and keep your hand steady, or use a ruler for extra straight lines.
- For the leaves, start low near the pot and sweep up to a point. If a leaf looks lopsided, that is fine, because real leaves are never perfect.
