How to draw a disgusted face step by step

How to Draw a Disgusted Face · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Guide shapes

Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.

  2. Step 2: The round face

Start with a big, slightly wide circle for the head. Draw it with one smooth line and close it where you began.

  3. Step 3: The left eye

On the left side of the face, draw a sideways arrow like a greater-than sign. Draw a short line going right and a little down to a point, then a second line coming back down and to the left.

  4. Step 4: The right eye

On the right side, draw a sideways arrow pointing the other way, like a less-than sign. Start with a tiny flick at the top, go left to the point, then finish with a line going down and to the right.

  5. Step 5: The eyelash line

Add one short line starting at the point of the right eye. It goes to the right, a little above the lower line of the eye.

  6. Step 6: The open mouth

Below the eyes, draw a wobbly top lip with a few small bumps. Then draw a U shape hanging down from both ends of the lip to make the open mouth.

  7. Step 7: The mouth corner

At the left end of the lip, draw a tiny hook that goes out to the left and curls down a little. It touches the lip right where the mouth begins.

  8. All done!

Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a disgusted face

  • The eyes are the trickiest part. Draw each one as a sideways arrow with a clear point, and keep the two points facing toward each other.
  • Draw the top lip slowly with a few small bumps, then draw the U for the mouth hanging down from it so the lines connect.
  • Leave some space between the eyes and the mouth so the face has room to show its feeling.

Questions about drawing a disgusted face

What shapes do I need to draw a disgusted face?

You need a big circle for the head, two sideways arrow shapes for the squinting eyes, and a U shape with a wobbly top lip for the open mouth.

How do I make the face look more disgusted?

Make the eyes look squeezed by drawing the arrow points clearly, and add the small hook at the corner of the mouth.

How do I get the face circle round?

Sketch it lightly first and turn the paper as you draw. If it looks a little wide or wobbly, that is fine, because it gives the face character.
