  1. Step 1: Left side

Start at the pointy top and draw a long slanted line down and to the left. Stop at the bottom left corner.

  2. Step 2: Bottom edge

Draw a straight line across the bottom, starting at the left corner and going all the way to the right.

  3. Step 3: Right side

From the top point, draw another long slanted line down and to the right until it meets the end of the bottom line. Now you have a big triangle.

  4. Step 4: Inner edge

Start at the top point again and draw a line down inside the triangle, leaning to the right. Then bend it and angle it to the bottom right corner.

  5. Step 5: Two round eyes

Near the bottom of the big flat face, draw two round dots with space between them. Fill them in dark.

  6. Step 6: Little smile

Between the eyes and a bit lower, draw a tiny wavy smile like two small curves joined together.

  7. All done!

Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a glass prism

  • Draw the left and right sides lightly first so both lines meet at the same top point.
  • The inner edge is the trickiest part. Start at the top, go down in a long line, then make one clear bend toward the bottom right corner.
  • Place the eyes low and wide apart, with the smile centered between them, to get a cute face.
