How to draw a singer step by step

How to Draw a Singer · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Guide shapes

Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.

  2. Step 2: Head with chin and ear

Start at the top left and draw a big round head that is a little flat on the bottom. On the right side add a small bump for the ear, then let the line curve into a soft chin.

  3. Step 3: The ears

Draw a curved C shape on the left side of the head for the left ear. Then add a tiny curved line at the top of the bump on the right side of the head.

  4. Step 4: Two round eyes

Fill in two round dots for the eyes, one on each side of the face. Keep them about the same size and at about the same height.

  5. Step 5: The open mouth

Below the eyes, draw a small mouth that looks like a little shield. Make the top a short, slightly wavy line, then curve the sides down to two soft points at the bottom.

  6. Step 6: Collar and arm

Under the chin, draw a small curve like a smile for the collar of the shirt. Then draw a long curved line from the right side of the chin down for the arm, ending with a little hook at the bottom.

  7. Step 7: Top of the microphone

To the left of the chin, draw a round ball for the top of the microphone. Then draw a short forked line going down and to the left for the start of the handle.

  8. Step 8: Fist and handle end

Draw a circle on the left side of the microphone for the fist holding it. Then add a small rounded oval at the lower end of the handle.

  9. Step 9: The big music note

In the top left corner, draw two round dots side by side. Draw a stem going up from each dot and join the tops with a slanted line, like a little roof.

  10. Step 10: Little floating notes

Add two single notes: one at the top right and one on the left side. For each, draw a small oval and add a short stem with a tiny flag.

  11. All done!

Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a singer

  • The microphone is the trickiest part. Draw the round top first, then the handle, and add the fist circle after that so the shapes do not get squashed together.
  • Make the two eyes first, then check that they sit at about the same height. It helps to lightly draw a line across the face before you add them.
  • Draw the notes last and keep them small. Round dots with short stems are easy, and you can put them anywhere there is empty space.

Try a bright shirt, soft peach for the skin, and a gray microphone with a shiny silver top. For a creative twist, color each music note a different rainbow color so the song looks like it is full of sparkle.

The sound of your voice comes from two tiny folds in your throat called vocal cords. They vibrate very fast when you sing, and you can feel it by touching your neck while you hum.
