Step 1: Left side of heart
Start at the dip at the top middle. Curve up and over to make one round bump, then sweep down the left side and finish at a rounded point at the bottom.
Step 2: Right side of heart
Begin again at the top dip and make a matching round bump on the right. Sweep down the right side until it meets your first line at the bottom point.
Step 3: The short hour hand
Draw a short, skinny pill shape with round ends, slanting down from the upper left toward the middle of the heart.
Step 4: The long minute hand
Draw a longer pill shape slanting up to the right. Let its bottom end come close to the bottom end of the short hand near the middle of the heart.
Step 5: Center, face, and dots
Draw a small circle where the two hands meet. Add one dot above it and one dot near the bottom point. Then draw two round dots for eyes and a curved smile underneath.
Step 6: Side hour dots
Add one dot on the far left and one on the far right of the clock face, level with each other.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a heart clock
- Draw the two sides of the heart as separate halves that meet at the top dip and bottom point. If one side looks lopsided, a light pencil sketch first can help.
- The hands are the trickiest part. Draw each one as a skinny pill with round ends, and make the minute hand clearly longer than the hour hand.
- Space the hour dots evenly at the top, bottom, left, and right so they look balanced. Put the eyes and smile below the center circle so the hands do not crowd the face.

How to color your heart clock drawing
Try a bright red or pink heart with dark blue hands so the clock is easy to read. For a creative twist, color the heart in rainbow stripes.
Heart clock fun fact for kids
A clock's hour hand goes around the clock face twice every day, because a day has 24 hours and the clock face only shows 12.
