How to draw a businessperson step by step
How to Draw a Businessperson · tinyhandscreate.com
Step 1: Face, tie knot and handle
Draw two round dots for eyes and a small curved smile below them. Lower down, draw a small tie knot with a few short lines. Off to the left, draw a little handle shape with a tiny upside-down U under it.
Step 2: Briefcase and legs
On the left, draw a rounded square for the briefcase. Then draw a long curved line down the right side to the bottom, make a small upside-down U to split two stubby feet, and finish the curve near the briefcase.
Step 3: The arms
Draw a curved line from the left shoulder down to the briefcase handle, like a gentle hill. On the right, draw a curve that bulges out and tucks back in at the hip.
Step 4: Head and collar
Draw a big circle around the face for the head, letting the bottom rest on the shoulders. Then draw a curved line under the chin from shoulder to shoulder and a V shape that points down to the tie.
Step 5: Briefcase top line
Draw a short curved line across the top part of the briefcase, from one side to the other, just above the little latch.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a businessperson
- Draw the face and tie knot first, then circle them with the head later. Leave room around the face so the circle fits.
- Draw the V of the collar so it points down to the tie knot.
- Keep the briefcase a rounded square. Soft corners look much friendlier than sharp ones.

The necktie is more than 300 years old. It grew out of cloth scarves worn by soldiers from Croatia in the 1600s, and the word 'cravat' comes from the word for Croatian.
