  1. Step 1: Guide shapes

    Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.

  2. Step 2: The head

    Draw a big rounded oval for the head, a little wider than it is tall. Add a curved ear on top at the back, then a small bump for the nose and a soft chin on the left.

  3. Step 3: The horn

    On top of the forehead, draw a tall, thin triangle with a rounded tip, like a party hat leaning forward. Let its bottom edge curve down into the head.

  4. Step 4: Neck and chest

    From under the chin, draw a long curved line down for the front of the neck and chest. Then draw a second line down from the back of the head for the back of the neck, and add two small curved lines at the right for the start of the back and the shoulder.

  5. Step 5: Front legs

    Draw two long rounded tubes hanging down from the chest, side by side, each finished with a rounded hoof at the bottom. Add a short curved line on the right for the edge of the next leg.

  6. Step 6: Rump and back leg

    Draw a curved line down from the back for the rump, then continue it into a wide back leg with a rounded hoof. Add a smaller leg peeking out in front of it, with its own hoof.

  7. Step 7: The wing

    Behind the shoulder, draw a small wing with a rounded top and a few pointed feather tips along the edge. Add a short curved line on the rump where the wing tucks in.

  8. Step 8: The tail

    Start at the rump and draw a big S-shaped swoosh for the tail. Make it wider at the bottom and finish with a little curl at the tip.

  9. Step 9: Face details

    Draw one big oval eye with a shiny dot and a few lashes. Add a smaller eye on the far side of the face, a happy curved smile, and a short curved line inside the ear.

  10. Step 10: Heart cutie mark

    On the side of the rump, draw a small heart: two little bumps on top that meet in a point at the bottom. Fill it in.

    Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.
