  1. Step 1: Chin and cheek

    Draw a curved line like the bottom of a bowl: start with a short line going down on the left, then sweep it around to the right for the chin and cheek.

  2. Step 2: Chest and back line

    From the right end of the chin, draw a line curving down for the front of the chest. Then draw a short, gentle curve off to the right, floating in the air, for the top of the back.

  3. Step 3: Horn, ear and neck

    Draw a tall, skinny cone for the horn, with a rounded line curving down the left side of the forehead to the cheek. Then draw the ear as a rounded bump on the right, and run a long line from the ear down the back of the neck to meet the back.

  4. Step 4: Front legs

    Draw two stubby legs going down from the chest, one in front of the other, each ending in a flat hoof. Add a short curve at the top of the rump and start the line of the back leg on the right.

  5. Step 5: Back leg

    On the right side, draw the round bottom of the body curving down into the back leg. Finish it with a rounded hoof on the ground.

  6. Step 6: The big tail

    Start at the back and draw a big swoosh that loops out to the right and then curls down. Draw a second curved line inside it and flick the tip into a little wave.

  7. Step 7: Face and horn details

    Draw a big oval eye with a small shine circle inside it, with little lashes. Add a smaller eye on the left side of the face, a curved line for the brow and mane over the forehead, and a few dots for the nose and cheek. Wrap curved stripes around the horn and add a curved line inside the ear.

  8. All done!

    Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.
