Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The head sides
Draw two curved lines for the sides of the head, one on the left and one on the right, bending like the sides of a round face. Leave a gap at the top for the bow and ears, and a gap at the bottom for the chin.
Step 3: The big round ears
At the top of each side line, draw a big round ear that looks like a circle with a small opening. Start each curve near the top of the head, loop around outward, and end where it meets the side of the head.
Step 4: The bow
At the top of the head, between the ears, draw a bow with two puffy loops, one on each side. Join them in the middle with a small square knot and add a short line sticking out from each side of the knot.
Step 5: Eyes, nose and smile
Draw two tall oval eyes and color them in. Add a small oval nose between them, then draw a small curved smile under the nose.
Step 6: Dress, dots and tail
Under the head, draw two slanted lines going down and out like a bell, then close the bottom with a gently curved hem. Add round polka dots inside the dress. Finish with a long, wiggly tail that starts at the bottom left of the dress and curls outward.
Step 7: The collar
At the top of the dress, just under the chin, draw a curved U shape for the collar. Add a small rounded blob at the bottom of the U, like a button.
Step 8: The arms
Draw a curved arm on each side of the dress. Start each one at the top corner of the dress, bump it outward, and curve it back in to touch the dress near the bottom.
Step 9: Legs and shoes
Under the dress, draw two short straight legs. At the bottom of each leg, add a wide rounded shoe shaped like a flat oval.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing Minnie Mouse
- Draw the two ear circles at about the same size. If one comes out smaller, that is fine, because the bow will pull the eye to the middle.
- The bow is the trickiest part. Think of two puffy loops that meet at a little square in the center.
- Space the polka dots out evenly across the dress. Dots of different sizes make the dress look playful.

How to color your Minnie Mouse drawing
Classic Minnie is red with white dots, black ears, and yellow shoes. For a creative twist, try a rainbow bow or a dress covered in stars instead of dots.
