Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Round head and body
Draw one big rounded shape like a gumdrop for the head and body, with a flat-ish round bottom. Add a tiny circle ear on each side of the top.
Step 3: Mouth and nostrils
In the middle of the face, draw a wide bowl-shaped mouth with two little teeth along the top. Above it, add two small dots for the nostrils and a short curved line above them.
Step 4: The tongue
Inside the bottom of the mouth, draw a smile-shaped curve from one side to the other for the tongue.
Step 5: The two feet
At the bottom of the body, draw two little U-shaped feet. Let each one tuck under the belly line.
Step 6: Cheeks and arms
Draw a curved line on each side of the face, above the mouth, for the puffy cheeks. Then add a tiny curved line on each side near the bottom for the little arms.
Step 7: The eyes
Draw two round dots for the eyes, high on the face, one at each end of the short curved line.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.
