Step 1: Walls and ground
Draw two tall straight lines standing up side by side for the walls of the church. Then draw a flat line across the bottom for the ground, a little wider than the walls.
Step 2: Roof slopes
At the top of each wall, draw a short slanted line that goes up toward the middle. Let each line stick out a little past its wall, and leave a gap between the two lines.
Step 3: Tower base and wall
Draw a short flat line across the gap, joining the two roof slopes. Then draw one tall straight line going up from the left end of that flat line.
Step 4: Tower and steeple roof
Draw a straight line going down from the top of the tall line's partner on the right, a flat line across the top to close the tower, and then a small triangle on top like a pointy hat.
Step 5: Steeple pole
Draw a short straight line going up from the point of the steeple.
Step 6: The front door
In the bottom middle of the church, draw a tall arch. Start at the ground, go straight up, curve over the top like a rainbow, and come back down to the ground.
Step 7: The round window
Above the door, draw a circle in the middle of the wall. Try to make it round like a ball.
Step 8: The side windows
Draw a small tall window on each side of the door. Make each one a narrow rectangle with a rounded top, and keep the two the same size.
Step 9: The bell window
Inside the tower, draw a small arched window shaped like a bell. Start with a curved top and let the sides slope out a bit at the bottom.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a church
- Draw the two tall walls first and keep them the same height, so the roof and tower sit neatly on top.
- The tower is built in two steps, so take your time. Make the two sides of the tower the same height.
- Draw the door and windows in the middle of the wall, and make the two side windows match in size.
