Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Leaf edge and right side
Draw a wavy, zigzag line for the bottom edge of the leafy cap near the top. At the right end, curve the line down and around to make the right side of the big strawberry, stopping above the little guide circle.
Step 3: Leaf top and left side
Finish the leafy cap by drawing the pointy stem and the leaf tips along the top. Then start under the cap on the left and curve down and around to a soft point at the bottom, ending near the small circle.
Step 4: The baby strawberry
Draw a small round strawberry outline tucked against the bottom right of the big one. Start at the top, go around the little circle, and leave a small gap at the top for the leaves.
Step 5: Baby's hat and face
Add a small jagged cap of leaves on top of the baby, closing the gap at the top. Then draw two tiny dots for eyes and a little smile curve between them.
Step 6: A hugging leaf
Draw a small pointy leaf, like a curved teardrop, on the left side of the baby where it meets the big strawberry. It looks like mom's little arm hugging the baby.
Step 7: Mom's happy face
Draw two round filled-in dots for eyes, side by side in the middle of the big strawberry. Add a small smile curve between and below them.
Step 8: A floating heart
Draw a small heart up in the top right corner and fill it in. It shows how much mom loves her baby.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a mom and baby strawberry
- Draw the big strawberry wide at the top, then curve the sides down to a soft point at the bottom.
- Draw the baby strawberry against mom, and stop the lines where they touch so the two shapes overlap neatly.
- Keep the leafy caps simple: a pointy stem in the middle and a few jagged leaves on each side. Make the baby's cap much smaller than mom's.
- Draw the face dots the same size and the same height so both eyes match.
