How to Draw a Claw Machine (Easy Step by Step)
A claw machine is full of simple shapes: a tall rectangle, circles for the prizes, and a few curved lines for the claw. It is fun because you get to fill the glass window with your own pile of toys. If you can draw a box and a ball, you can draw this.

Step 1: The tall cabinet
Draw a tall rectangle with soft, rounded corners. This is the whole body of the machine, so make it fill most of your page.
Step 2: Top and middle lines
Draw one straight line across the cabinet near the top, and a second straight line across it about two thirds of the way down. This splits the machine into a top, a window area, and a control area.
Step 3: The glass window
Between the two lines, draw a rectangle with rounded corners. Leave a little space on each side so it looks like a window.
Step 4: The claw rail
Just inside the top of the window, draw a straight line from one side of the window to the other. The claw will hang from this.
Step 5: Claw, prizes, and bow
Draw a short straight line down from the rail, then a small cap with two curved arms hooking down. Next draw a pile of circles at the bottom of the window: three in a row and a couple stacked on top. Add a little bow, two loops and a knot, above the top line, and draw the top of a short stick under the window on the left.
Step 6: Buttons and prize slot
In the bottom section, finish the joystick by drawing a small flat base under its stick. Draw a small circle on the right for the button, and a small rectangle near the bottom where the prizes drop out.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a claw machine
- Draw the window rectangle lightly first and check that it sits between the two lines before you press harder.
- The prize circles are the trickiest part. Start with the bottom row of three, then stack the others on top, tucked into the gaps between them.
- Draw the claw arms as two curved hooks that point down, so it looks ready to grab.
