How to Draw Boba Tea (Easy Step by Step)
Boba tea is a fun drawing because it is a cup, a lid and a straw, and then you get to give it a face. It is built from simple shapes: a wide-top cup, a rounded dome, a tall rectangle and lots of little rings for the tapioca pearls.

Step 1: The cup
Draw two long lines that lean slightly toward each other as they go down, so the cup is wider at the top. Join them at the bottom with a flat line and round the two bottom corners.
Step 2: The lid rim
Draw one straight line across the top of the cup, from one side to the other. It closes the top of the cup.
Step 3: The domed lid
Start at one end of the rim line and draw a big smooth hill up and over to the other end. It looks like the top half of a circle that has been squashed flat.
Step 4: The straw
Draw a tall, skinny tilted rectangle poking up out of the top of the lid. Leave the bottom open where it slides into the lid, and close the top with a short line.
Step 5: The wavy tea line
Draw a gentle wavy line across the cup, a bit below the lid. Start at one side of the cup and let it roll up and down like a small wave until it touches the other side.
Step 6: Face and pearls
Draw two round dots for eyes and a tiny smile between them. Then draw little rings in the bottom of the cup in rows: two rings on top, then three, then four, each with a small hole in the middle.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing boba tea
- Draw the two sides of the cup so they lean in toward the bottom. If they come out too straight, the cup will look like a can.
- Draw the rim line straight across the top of the cup, then draw the dome from one end of the rim to the other so the two lines meet neatly.
- Draw the pearls as rings, starting at the top of the pile with two, then three, then four. Leave a small hole in each ring so they look like real boba.
