How to draw Snow White step by step

How to Draw Snow White · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Guide shapes

Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.

  2. Step 2: The big skirt

Start with the big bell-shaped skirt. Draw a wide curved line down from each side, then close the bottom with a gentle wavy line.

  3. Step 3: The dress neckline

At the top middle of the skirt, draw a small V shape for the front of the dress. Let each side of the V flick up a little toward the skirt's top edges.

  4. Step 4: Puffy sleeves

On each side near the top of the dress, draw a small round puffy sleeve like a little balloon. Add short lines to join each sleeve to the dress, and a tiny curved line for the collar at the neck.

  5. Step 5: Hair and eyes

Above the dress, draw a rounded bowl of hair with short curls at the bottom on both sides, and color it in solid. Then add two round dots for the eyes in the open face.

  6. Step 6: The big bow

On top of the hair, draw two loops like bunny ears, one leaning to each side. Let them come close together in the middle.

  7. Step 7: Bow knot

Draw a small circle in the middle of the bow where the two loops meet. Add a short line going out from each side of the circle.

  8. All done!

Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing Snow White

  • Draw the skirt as a bell shape first, with both sides curving out evenly, so she stands steady on the page.
  • The puffy sleeves are the trickiest part. Think of each one as a small balloon sitting on each side of the dress top.
  • Draw the bow last, with two loops like bunny ears, and keep both loops about the same size.
