Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The big berry
Draw a big circle in the middle of your page. This is the main blueberry, so make it nice and round.
Step 3: The side berries
Draw a smaller circle peeking out behind the big berry on the left, and another on the right. Let each one start where it tucks behind the big circle.
Step 4: The star-shaped tops
On top of each berry, draw a tiny crown with small points, like a little star. Do the big berry first, then add one on each side berry.
Step 5: Two big leaves
Draw a pointy oval leaf above the big berry on each side. Start each one near the top of the big berry and lean it outward, with the tip at the top.
Step 6: Leaf veins
Inside each leaf, draw one long curved line from near the tip down toward the middle. It helps the leaf look real.
Step 7: The happy face
Add two round dots for eyes in the middle of the big berry. Then draw a small curved smile below them, like a little bowl.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing blueberries
- Draw the big middle circle first and leave room on both sides, so the two smaller berries have space to peek out behind it.
- The star-shaped tops are the trickiest part. Start with a small five-sided shape, then add little points around it.
- Draw each leaf as a pointy oval first, then add the vein line inside last so it stays inside the shape.

Blueberries fun fact for kids
Blueberries are one of the few fruits that are naturally blue. The dusty, pale coating on the skin is a natural wax that helps protect the berry.

What shapes do I need to draw blueberries?
You mostly need circles for the berries and pointy ovals for the leaves. The tops are small stars, and the face uses two dots and a curve.

Keep the eyes as two round dots and the smile small and curved. Round, plump berries with a happy face look the cutest.
How do I make the berries look like they are in front of each other?
Draw the big berry first, then stop the side berries' lines where they touch it. This makes the side berries look tucked behind.
