Step 1: Hat band line
Draw a short, slightly wavy line straight across the page, a little above the middle. This will become the band of the hat.
Step 2: Shoulders and zipper
Below the band line, draw a short sideways line for the shoulders. Add a little mitten shape on the right end, then draw a straight line down from the middle for the zipper.
Step 3: Head, hat and face
Around the band line, draw a round hat dome with a tiny loop on top, then a round head below it. Add a wide rounded rectangle for goggles with a short line in the middle, two dots for eyes, and a small smile. Draw two little curved marks for boots at the bottom of the zipper line, and a long straight line down from the right mitten for a ski pole.
Step 4: Left mitten, pole top
Draw a little mitten on the left end of the shoulder line, matching the one on the right. Add a small circle at the top of the right ski pole, where the hand holds it.
Step 5: Puffy jacket
Around the zipper line, draw a rounded jacket shape below the head. Add two curved lines across it for the puffy stripes.
Step 6: Ground line
Draw a short straight line along the bottom, starting to the left of the boots. This is where the snow will be.
Step 7: Left ski pole
Draw a small circle next to the left mitten for the hand. Then draw a long straight line down from the circle to the end of the ground line.
Step 8: Skis and snow
Draw two long, flat skis under the boots, with the tips curled up at the outer ends. Finish with a long straight line of snow underneath both skis.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a skier
- Draw the goggles as one wide rounded rectangle across the face, then add the middle line last so both sides look even.
- Draw both ski poles with one steady, straight line each, starting from the small circle at the hand.
- Curl the tip of each ski upward in a gentle hook, and keep both skis the same length so they look like a pair.
