How to Draw Spider-Man (Easy Step by Step)
Spider-Man is fun to draw because this chibi version is built from big, friendly shapes: a giant round head, a small rounded body, and two slanted eyes. The web on his mask is just straight lines and curves that cross each other. Once you know the shapes, you can draw him again and again.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: Head and ears
Draw a big round circle for the head, a little flatter along the bottom for the chin. Add a small half circle on each side for the ears.
Step 3: Body and legs
Start under the chin and draw two lines curving down for the sides of the body. Finish with two short legs that end in rounded feet, leaving a small gap between the legs.
Step 4: Arms at his sides
Start each arm at the shoulder, just below the chin. Curve it out and down, then hook the end into a little fist that touches the body.
Step 5: Big mask eyes
Draw two big eye shapes on the face, rounded on the outside with a pointy corner aiming down toward the middle. Make them the same size and slant them a little.
Step 6: Web center lines
Draw a straight line down the middle of the forehead, starting at the top of the head. Then add a slanted line on each side that starts at the top of the head and meets the middle line in a point between the eyes.
Step 7: Web curves
Draw curved lines across the forehead from one side of the web to the other, so they cross the straight lines. Add a small curve near the point between the eyes.
Step 8: The spider badge
On the middle of the chest, draw a small oval for the spider body and fill it in. Add four thin bent legs on each side of the oval.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing Spider-Man
- Draw the head first and make it bigger than you think you need. The big head is what makes this Spider-Man look cute.
- Draw the two eyes lightly before you press hard. Check that they are about the same size and that the pointy corners aim toward each other.
- For the web, draw the middle line first and the curves last. Space the curves evenly, like the rungs of a ladder.
